The Tara is close to the Stena ferry port (gateway
to southern Ireland), the town centre and the Pembrokeshire
National Coast Path. The north Pembrokeshire coastline and
surrounding countryside offers some outstanding scenery and
is ideal for walking holidays.

There is plenty of inspiration for days out; St. Davids,
the smallest city in Britain has a spectacular Cathedral and
the Bishops Palace, Tenby and Saundersfoot are certainly worth
a visit. The beaches of Whitesands, Newport and Newgale are
all close by. For more active days out there are fishing trips,
horseriding, golf, sports centres and swimming pools. The
Pembrokeshire Water Sports Centre provides a programme for
youngsters to experience canoeing, sailing and other water-based
activities.

Or, as a special treat or celebration you might like to take
a flight around the coast which takes around an hour and costs
about £130 for up to 3 passengers. From April to October you
can take a day trip to Ireland as a foot passenger.
Details of all these activities as well as the many gardens,
historic houses and visitors attractions are available.
